Check for leaks
Open the main inlet valve, let the water into the water purifier, carefully check whether the parts of the water purifier are closely connected,
there is no leakage phenomenon, especially pay attention to the water pipe joints,
the edge of the filter bottle and other parts that are easy to leak,
you can use toilet paper to wipe and check. If there is water leakage,
the water source should be turned off immediately,
and the relevant connection parts should be checked and re-fixed until there is no water leakage.
Wash filter element
Ultrafiltration water purifier: Generally need to open the rinse water outlet,
discharge the protective agent. Pour in water,
shake slightly, pour out the cleaning solution,
so repeated many times until the cleaning solution is free of foam.
Reverse osmosis water purifier: Usually in the first use,
the water making process will automatically flush the filter element,
but you can also manually open the flushing valve
for a short time to remove the protective liquid and impurities in the filter element to ensure the water quality.
Check the running status of power supplies and devices
For water purifiers that need to be energized, plug the power cord into
the socket and ensure that the power supply is stable and reliable.
After the power is turned on, observe whether the
indicator light of the water purifier is on, such as the power indicator light,
the water production indicator light, etc., to determine whether the device is normally powered on.
Turn on the switch of the water purifier and listen to whether
there is abnormal noise or vibration during the operation of the equipment.
If there is abnormal sound, the equipment should be shut down immediately
and check whether it is improperly installed or the equipment itself is faulty.
Test water flow and pressure
Observe the water flow at the water outlet of the water purifier to ensure that the water
flow is smooth and has no odor, and the water flow rate should conform to the rated flow
range in the product instructions. If the water output is too small, it may be caused
by the blockage of the filter element, insufficient water pressure or water pipe blockage,
and it needs to be further investigated and solved.

Some water purifiers may need to check the pressure of the pressure barrel. For example,
after the ball valve of the pressure barrel is opened, the pressure barrel should
be able to enter and exit the water normally, and the pressure should be within an appropriate range.
Check water quality
Use professional water quality testing tools, such as TDS testing pens, to test whether the water quality
of the water purifier is up to standard. If it is reverse osmosis water purifier, the TDS value of the water
should be at a low level, generally below 50; The effluent quality of the ultrafiltration water purifier should
also meet the drinking water sanitation standards stipulated by the State. If the water quality does not meet the
requirements, it may be that the filter element is installed incorrectly, not fully washed, or the filter element
itself has quality problems, which need to be investigated and solved in time.
Adjust parameters (if necessary)
According to the family water quality and personal needs, according to the instructions to adjust the
parameters of the water purifier, such as filtration accuracy, flow, etc. Some high-end water purifiers may have
adjustable functions, and users can optimize the Settings according to the actual situation to obtain the best purification effect.
